He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Odelia (Wielinski) Gessell; and grandparents.
Robert is survived by brothers and sisters, Jeff (Karla), Tom (Nancy), Mark (Darlene), Bruce (Teri), Cate (Frank), Colleen (Maurice) and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
