Invest Northwest Awards: Call for Nominations

Seeking nominations for the 2013 Invest Northwest Awards

Do you know someone whose volunteer efforts have significantly improved the lives of area residents in Northwest Hennepin County?

 Thank that person publicly by nominating them for the 2013 Invest Northwest Award. Nominees may include individuals, organizations and businesses that have gone above and beyond in their volunteer service to the community.

Nominees for the 2013 Invest Northwest Award will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

  • Volunteered in one of Northwest Hennepin Human Services Council’s member cities (Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Corcoran, Crystal, Golden Valley, Hanover, Maple Grove, New Hope and Osseo).
  • Demonstrated innovation and creativity to improve the lives of others.
  • Sustained activity in working to improve people’s lives over a period of time (not necessarily in only one role or capacity).
  • Inspired others to get involved in addressing the needs of area residents.
  • Visible evidence of progress resulting from his/her/their activity.

Up to four awards will be given. Individuals may not nominate themselves or the organization for which they work.  Nominations are due by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, April 19, 2013 and should be sent to info@nwhhsc.org.   Click the link below for the nomination form:
