Local Author's New Release: "Reinventing New Chapters in Your Life at Any Age"

Author Nadia Giordana launches new book focused on helping women in mid life resurrect their sidelined dreams and create exciting new chapters in their lives.

I've reinvented my life a number of times, not always intentionally. Sometimes life forced it on me. Once I came to the realization of what I was doing, I began to do it with intent, developing what I call my Lifestyle GPS System that helps me help other women design and plan new chapters in their lives.

Condensed outline of the 7 steps offered in "Reinventing New Chapters in Your Life at Any Age":

Your reinvention may be personal, spiritual, social or economical.

  1. Reshapeing your body: Regardless of whether you have a lot of work to do in this area (like I did), or you think you are in pretty good shape. Having a healthier body will give you the foundation and physical energy to pursue your endeavors. Without it, you won’t have the stamina to reach your ‘showstopper’ goal (see #6).
  2. Realigning your relationships along with your spiritual self: Your success depends upon having balance and contentment in both areas.
  3. Redirecting your thought patterns: There are a number of ways you can shift your thought patterns away from the mistaken idea that time has passed you by and there’s nothing you can do.
  4. Rediscovering the magic. Focus your thinking on your sense of adventure. Remember that feeling (I do), the sense of wonder, when you were young and you realized you had your whole life ahead of you? Well, you still do! Embrace it and make use of it.
  5. Removing regrets. If you have something eating at you, make amends and make it up if you can, and get on with your life. Removing regrets also means removing “I wish I had” from your vocabulary.
  6. Rewriting your new life chapter:  My three-tier approach to goal setting can be adapted to virtually any situation.
  7. Revealing your intentions, or re-introducing yourself.
