Join us this weekend at the Maple Grove Arts Center. This coming Saturday, October 26, 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Children are invited to make a FREE mask at the arts center. Education Christina Hankins and a team of volunteers have created a fun project for the Main Street Trick or Treaters this Saturday.
The Monster Show Reception is the same day, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Come see Monster artworks, enjoy wine and hors'd oeuvres and a costume contest. Featured artist is Preston Drum, showcasing his whimsical halloween costume characters. Other featured artists John and Angela Brekenitch, Tracie Thompson, Alex Munro, Chris Nystrom, Kayliegh Hartland, Ashlie Paulson. Also featured is story book writer/illustrator Scott Spinks and photographer Matthew Sherfenberg.
Zombies can stop by and view the art and enjoy free wine and food before heading out for the Zombie Pub Krawl. Budweiser, Minneapolis NW Convention & Visitor’s Bureau and 14 restaurants and pubs in the Shoppes at Arbor Lakes, The Fountains at Arbor Lakes and Arbor Lakes Main Street sponsor the Zombie Pub Krawl.
After the Artists Reception, join in the Zombie Pub Krawl. The krawl includes the Hampton Inn Hotel (special $88 night stay for Zombies), a Trolley to take you to all the pub locations. Visiting at 5 locations and presenting a Zombie toe tag qualifies you to win prizes.
A trolley will be available for Zombies to travel to all areas where restaurants are participating. The Trolley will run 8:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. Also, the Hampton Inn is offering $88 rooms for October 26. The Hampton Inn is on the Trolley route. A map of the Trolley route will be available soon, signage will indicate Zombie Pub Krawl Trolley
