What Is Open And Closed In Maple Grove On Thanksgiving?

Most Maple Grove and Hennepin County offices are closed for the Thanksgiving holiday Nov. 28 and Nov. 29, 2013.

• Maple Grove city offices are closed on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29 and reopen Monday, Dec. 2.

• Hennepin County Libraries, including the one in Maple Grove, are closed for Thanksgiving, Thursday, Nov. 28 and reopen regular hours Friday, Nov. 29.

• All Hennepin County Service Centers, including Maple Grove, will be closed both Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29.

Bus Service Levels for Thanksgiving

Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2013 - Full Maple Grove bus service will be provided.  In addition, the Rt. 781 p.m. trips #1 through 4 will have two buses assigned to each trip to help accommodate the high demand from riders leaving downtown Minneapolis earlier than normal due to the Thanksgiving Holiday. The buses will be back-to-back, so you do not need to crowd on the first bus.

Thursday, Nov. 28, 2013 - No Maple Grove Transit service will be provided on Thanksgiving Day.
 
Friday, Nov. 29, 2013 - Maple Grove Transit will operate a drastically reduced service schedule as Routes 780, 781A, 782, 783, 785, 788, and 789 will not operate.  The table (attached to this article) displays the Route 781 trips that Maple Grove Transit will operate will operate using a 66-passenger articulated buses.
