Mini-Hops Boys Gymnastics Team Show What They Are Made Of At The Windy City Invitational

Mini-Hops boys gymnastics teams competed at one of the largest invitational in the mid-west hosted by Prairie Gymnastics Club held at the University of Illinois-Chicago.

 

Mini-Hops boys gymnastics teams competed at one of the largest invitational in the mid-west hosted by Prairie Gymnastics Club held at the University of Illinois-Chicago.  January 18th and 19th was a true testament. With over 1000 gymnast from all over the country, Mini-Hops gymnasts proved that they were up for the challenge in the windy city.

Mini-Hops Gymnastics Level 6 Boys Team

Gymnasts in level 6 compete against other gymnast in their age bracket (ie. – ages 8,9,-10, 11+). Individual placements are awarded by age bracket. Team place are also awarded by age bracket.

David H. (Medina, age 9) scored 9.900 to place 2nd on floor, 10.300 and placed 3rd on pommel horse, 9.800 to place 7th on rings, 9.500 to place 7th on vault, 10.400 and placed 4th on parallel bars, 7.600 to place 21th on horizontal bar.  Final score of 57.500 to place 4th on all-around.

Blake J. (Wyoming, age 9) scored 6.500 to place 24th on floor, 9.300 to place 15th on pommel horse, 9.500 to place 11th on rings, 8.800 to place 25th on vault, 9.000 to place 24th on parallel bars, 8.300 to place 15th on horizontal bar.  Final score of 51.400 to place 19th on all-around.

Maverick P. (Minneapolis, age 9) scored 7.000 and placed 22nd on floor, 7.800 to place 23rd on pommel horse, 9.100 to place 15th on rings, 9.400 to place 12th on vault, 7.700 to place 25th on parallel bars, 8.600 to place 9th on horizontal bar.  Final score of 49.600 to place 22nd on all-around.

Ethan W. (Medina, age 10) scored 10.300 and placed 2nd on floor, 10.300 and placed 8th on pommel horse, 10.300 and placed 3rd on rings, 9.400 and placed 9th on vault, 10.600 and placed 3rd on parallel bars, 9.400 and placed 3rd on horizontal bar.  Final score of 60.200 to place 2nd on all-around.

Jakob McE. (St. Louis Park, age 11-12) scored 9.100 and placed 4th on floor, 8.900 and placed 11th on pommel horse, 7.800 and placed 14th on rings, 9.300 and placed 11th on vault, 9.400 and placed 8th on parallel bars, 9.700 and placed 2nd on horizontal bar.  Final score of 54.200 to place 5th on all-around.

Thiago X. (Plymouth, age 11-12) scored 8.100 and placed 14th on floor, 10.200 and placed 2nd on pommel horse, 8.100 and placed 11th on rings, 7.800 and placed 29th on vault, 9.200 and placed 12th on parallel bars, 8.300 and placed 12th on horizontal bar.  Final score of 51.700 to place 11th on all-around.

Overall team (age 7-10) scored 171.200 to claim 4th place.

Overall team (age 11+) scored 105.900 to claim 8th place.

Gymnasts in level 7 compete against other gymnast in their age bracket (ie. – ages 9-10, 11-12). Individual placements are awarded by age bracket.  Team place are also awarded by age bracket.

(Chanhassen, age 11-12) scored 10.200 and placed 6th on floor, 9.200 and placed 19th on pommel horse, 10.400 and placed 5th on rings, 11.600 and placed 22nd on vault, 9.000 and placed 20th on parallel bars, 7.300 and placed 20th on horizontal bar.  Final score of 57.700 to place 12th on all-around.

Andrew H. (Plymouth, age 11-12) scored 7.200 and placed 34th on floor, 9.300 and placed 18th on pommel horse, 9.500 and placed 22nd on rings, 11.900 and placed 14th on vault, 9.600 and placed 13th for parallel bars, 6.400 and placed 27th on horizontal bar.  Final score of 53.900 to place 23rd on all-around.

Ethan O. (Maple Grove, age 11-12) scored 8.600 and placed 27th on floor, 8.100 and placed 33rd on pommel horse, 9.700 and placed 17th on rings, 11.500 and placed 29th on vault, 9.100 and placed 19th on parallel bars, 4.100 and placed 33rd on horizontal bar.  Final score of 51.100 to place 30th on all-around.

Overall team scored 181.500 to claim 1st place.

Gymnasts in level 8 compete against other gymnast in their age bracket (ie. – ages 11, 12, 13+). Individual placements are awarded by age bracket.
