Whole Foods Market Opens Wednesday in Maple Grove

More than a year after announcing a new location, Whole Foods Market in Maple Grove is scheduled to open Wednesday, July 17, 2013. 

Whole Foods Market shared the following on their Facebook page Tuesday:

"We'll have local vendors sampling outside the store and music starting at 8am, our bread breaking ceremony at 8:45, and we'll open our doors at 9. The store will be filled with samples and goodies all day long. And yes, the parking lot will be crazy, but we've got extra attendants on hand to help with traffic flow. We'd also like to encourage you to enter the lot right off main street directly in front of our store to help ease congestion."    

The store, remodeling and filling in the former Ultimate Electronics site at The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes near I-94 and I-694 and Hemlock Lane at 12201 Elm Creek Blvd N., is approximately 34,000 square-feet.  

Whole Foods Maple Grove is anticipated to carry natural and organic foods and focuses on fresh, organic fruits and vegetables, specialty items, high-quality meats and poultry, everyday pantry staples and sustainable seafood, according to the business.
