The new Whole Foods Market opened Wednesday, July 17 in Maple Grove.
Maple Grove Mayor Mark Steffenson spoke before the opening, as did store officials. Dozens of patrons were on hand prior to the opening to check out vendor samples and witness the traditional Whole Foods "bread breaking" ceremony.
The store fills in the former Ultimate Electronics site at The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes near I-94 and I-694 and Hemlock Lane at 12201 Elm Creek Blvd N., is approximately 34,000 square-feet.
Whole Foods Market Maple Grove carries products such as natural and organic foods. The Maple Grove location has several unique offerings, including a children's play area and community-based signage, local products, and more.
