Updated: New Uses in Maple Grove Opens June 20

The new business is located next to Kyoto Sushi.

After stocking the shelves with gently used home goods from community members, New Uses in Maple Grove will have their grand opening 10 a.m. Thursday, June 20, according to their website

The store is scheduled to close 3 p.m. June 19 to prepare for the grand opening. 
"Please refrain from bringing in items for us to purchase June 20th-June 23rd as the store will be busy and their may be lengthy buy time waiting," the store shared on its website

New Uses Maple Grove is located near Kyoto Sushi and JcPenney at 13777 Grove Drive, Maple Grove.

New Uses announced their upcoming opening date of their Maple Grove location on their Facebook page June 5 writing:
Grand Opening is June 20th at 10:00 a.m. for those of you that missed our post yesterday. We buy everyday and we are located at 13777 Grove Dr., Maple Grove, MN

After expanding Clothes Mentor in Maple Grove in early 2013, owner Mark and Barb Hoon are now preparing to open another business in Maple Grove. 

New Uses, where customers can buy and sell most gently used home goods, preparing to open next to Kyoto Sushi at Grove Square in May. A franchise location, New Uses could buy and sell items such as furniture, kitchen supplies, consumer electronics, home décor, small, appliances, tools and more. 

Once the store is open, customers don’t need an appointment when selling items to the store. Staff will make sure it meets quality and operating standards. If accepted, sellers receive money based on condition, brand, stock level and demand, according to the website. 

The Maple Grove location will be the second in Minnesota, with the first located in Minnetonka. There are also locations in Illinois and Ohio.
