Starbucks Coffee Opens at Dunkirk Shopping Center

The new coffee shop opened its doors to the Maple Grove community Friday morning.

Adding to the full setup of new businesses at Dunkirk Shopping Center in Maple Grove, Starbucks Coffee has opened for business.

The new coffee shop is located next to Valvoline and Freeziac near Dunkirk Lane and County Road 30 opened at 4 a.m. Friday, Sept. 21. The hours are 4 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday and 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

"We're really excited to be opening another store in Maple Grove," the Starbucks spokesperson said in a previous Patch interview.

It is the third Starbucks location in Maple Grove, with a location off of Wedgewood and store within Target.

This is much needed and will help offset the White Castle that recently opened

What exactly are we trying to offset? And how does Starbucks "offset" it?

Totally agree! Visited Starbucks this morning and Bryce from the original Maple Grove store was there! They are off to a great start!

I would have preferred a Caribou personally but I'm happy to have a drive up coffee option in that area other than McDonalds.

That's enough White Castle remarks Jarrod.

I agree with you Michelle. Jarrod you sound like a broken record every time you make a comment. I think you are being disrespectful to all of the hard working people at White Castle.

Jarrod, it doesn't seem like the wisest idea to make disparaging remarks about a new business in the area, when you're linking your livelihood to your profile. I agree with others... You sound like a broken record. Please just stop. You're embarrassing yourself.

So excited to have a Starbucks on this side of town! I've waited 13 years!

What's wrong with a White Castle? How does one sterile strip mall offset the other sterile restaurant? Perhaps you are trying to suggest something about the clientele? As if the addition of one particular restaurant is going to bring permanent ruin to a city that already has serious flaws.
