Construction continues at Redstone American Grill, located at the former site of Boston’s Gourmet Pizza, as the new Maple Grove business aims for an early to mid November opening.
Restaurant representatives were at a recent Maple Grove City Council meeting where they received liquor license approval.
Councilmembers inquired about the anticipated opening date, which Redstone Chief Operating Officer Mike O'Leary indicated could be in November. He told the council the Maple Grove restaurant would have the “same style, same look” as the other locations.
“We’re really excited about being up here and having the growth in our company again. This is a great market to be in,” O’Leary said to the council. “We’ve been excited about it for a long time. It’s a great location.”
As part of the renovations to the former Boston’s Pizza, Redstone will feature the following, according to documents previously provided to the Maple Grove City Council:
- Converting the existing patio area into a 1,113 square foot private dining room and 427 square foot private patio
- Adding a 2,608 square foot patio area to all patrons
- Construct a small extended entryway
- Additional landscaping
- Modification of exterior elevation
The Maple Grove location will be near The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes and Granite City. Redstone American Grill also has restaurants in Minnetonka and Eden Prairie. The Redstone American Grill PUD Development Stage Plan was approved the council May 21 and the liquor license approved Sept. 17, 2012.
