New Maple Grove Business: Verizon Wireless

recently became one of the first tenants to open in the new outlot building at Dunkirk Shopping Center in Maple Grove.

The retailer is joined next door by and soon to be joined by Pro-Cuts and iBeach Tan, according to Dunkirk Lane Maple Grove, LLC Manager Vincent Driessen.

Franchise owner Brent Peterson, a Maple Grove native, answered a few questions about the new store and its new location for Maple Grove Patch in an email interview. Here's a portion of that interview:

Maple Grove Patch: Why did you decide to open a Verizon Wireless - Wireless Zone in Maple Grove?

Brent Peterson: We discovered an opportunity to be a part of a retail redevelopment off Maple Grove Parkway and Interstate 94. This is a great community to be a part of, and as far as wireless distribution is concerned, we identified a need to be here to better serve our customers. Also, I personally grew up in Maple Grove, and as a result, I will always be connected to this community. Growing our business here stems from that connection.

Maple Grove Patch: The Wireless Zone is located inside the new Verizon store. How do the two work together?

Peterson: As a locally owned and operated retailer, we are dedicated to this community and customers. We are committed to providing customers with the best in personal customer service and knowledge for all of their wireless needs. All of this comes wrapped in Verizon Wireless. Wireless Zone is a Verizon Premium Wireless Retailer and is Verizon’s longest standing indirect partner.

Maple Grove Patch: How would you describe it to someone who hasn't been to Wireless Zone before?

Peterson: We provide fast and attentive service. If you need a help with your phone, stop in and we’ll be there to support you with product training and troubleshooting. Wireless Zone will not compartmentalize and redirect customer service issues or anything else – If you need help with something, we will make it our mission to solve all your wireless needs.

Peterson: We have the full line-up of Verizon Wireless’ devices and accessories. We have all the smartphones and tablets. Most of all, we specialize in providing excellent service to all our customers. Maple Grove Patch: What is the price range of the products/services?

Peterson: We offer the best service value in the wireless industry. Our phones, smartphones, and tablets will range in price depending on the model one might choose, but our pricing will always be competitive.

Maple Grove Patch: Is there any additional information you would like to share with customers?

Peterson: I’d like invite our community in to our new location and let us know about their wireless service needs. We perform a free wireless analysis any time a customer visits, regardless of the carrier they are currently with. We are excited to be open and ready to serve our Maple Grove community!
