Registration Open for Maple Grove Art Center Classes

Workshops are available for kids and teens.

Studio Art for Kids
This four week course will be set in a studio format with each week focusing on a different creative project. Students will try their hand at painting, sculpture, drawing, mixed media and printmaking. Children will be encouraged to use their imagination, explore, and have fun.

Instructor: Kayla Kaser
Dates: Saturdays, March 10, 17, 24, 31
Time: 3-5 p.m.
Ages: 8-12
Cost: $120/includes all materials
Class size: minimum three/maximum eight students

Watercolor Workshop for Teens 
This watercolor class is open to all ability levels. It does not matter whether you are a novice or an experienced watercolorist. The class will work on color mixing, brush technique, and texture to form a solid understanding of the watercolor painting process.
Ages: 12-17
Instructor: Leanne Hanson
Dates: Tuesdays, March 6, 13, 20 and 27
Time: 4-6 p.m.
Cost: $120/some materials provided

Class size: three minimum/ten maximum

Painting Workshop for Teens
Does your child love to draw cartoons, super heroes or just doodle? Anderson will help students with their illustrations by teaching composition, contour and shading in acrylic paint. Students will learn painting techniques through individual and group projects.
