Percolators Band to Play at Maple Grove Farmers Market

Thursday Sept. 6, 3-7 p.m., music and market both go the entire three hours.

Free music. Come hungry! Bring your kids. Bring your parents. And wear your dancing shoes.

The Percolators Band plays fun, danceable 60’s-70’s rock, a little country, some blues, ballads, even a couple of polkas.

They are a trio with lead guitar, bass guitar and drums. Everybody sings so they often feature nice 3-part harmonies. They have been together since 1992 and have played together in other bands since back in the 1970’s.

Hans Gasterland plays drums, sings lead and harmony, and is the leader. Hans played with the “Sky Blue Water Boys”, and the “Tommy Wiggins Band”.

Dave Elmeer plays bass guitar and sings lead and harmony. Dave played in “Cain”, the spectacular heavy rock band from the 70’s.

Marc Partridge is a fantastic lead guitarist and sings lead and harmony. Marc played and recorded in “Northern Lights” and many other fine bands, and was runner up in Twin Cities’ Best Guitar Player competition 1997.
