As part of a cross-country bus tour to promote their new movie "The Way," the duo stopped in Maple Grove Sept. 12 and planned on heading to Roseville Sept. 13.

Emilio Estevez and Martin Sheen stopped at Sept. 12 to promote the new movie The Way.

The movie stars took an hour to meet fans and sign autographs, followed by an exclusive showing at the Maple Grove AMC. Hundreds turned out for the signing, although about 125 were able to make it through the line before Sheen and Estevez left.

Maple Grove was one of two spots on their cross-country bus tour, which also planned on stopping in Roseville Tuesday, Sept. 13 at the AMC Rosedale 14 at 6:30 p.m.

Selected theaters will be showing the The Way Oct. 7 and it opens nationwide Oct. 21, according to The Way website. The movie was written and directed by Estevez.
