Upcoming Event: Exploring Fall Colors at Elm Creek Park Reserve

The 4,900-acre park in Maple Grove is offering its youthful patrons and caregivers a chance to view the fall colors by tram travel.

Tram Ride and Fall Fun

Thursday, Sept. 29 from 10 a.m. to noon or 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

’s "Bluebird Express" will take participants age 3 to 16 and their caregivers on a tractor-drawn tram for an hour-long ride to view fall colors and park scenery. During the event, youth will have a chance to explore the seed world and make works of art with fall leaves.

Reservations required, by phone only at 763-559-6700. Adults must accompany children. The cost is $5 per person. Attendees meet at the rental building next to the chalet.
