Photos: Angel of Hope Candlelight Memorial

The recent Angel of Hope Candlelight Memorial at the Maple Grove Arboretum marked the 10th year of the ceremony.

Community members attended the Angel of Hope Candlelight Memorial ceremony Dec. 6 at the , gathering at the Maple Grove Christmas Box Angel of Hope statue. Attendees left white flowers at the base of the statue in memory of loved ones. 

More than 200 people attended the ceremony, which happens the same day every year in coordination with all the Christmas Box Angels of Hope around the United States. 

After the ceremony, the Friends of the Angel group provided a Remembrace Gathering at the  after the service as a way for families to warm up and gather for refreshments and fellowship.
