Friends Meeting
Wednesday, May 2, 7 p.m.  
Join fellow library enthusiasts to hear what's happening at Hennepin County Library. Help support your local library by planning and volunteering at book sales, programs, and special events. The Friends look forward to meeting you. General membership meeting.

Paint It Green: Full Circle
Saturday, May 5, 1-2 p.m.  
Kindergarten-grade 6. Turn your school locker or refrigerator into a work of art! Use discarded CDs, bottle caps, magnet strips, fun photos, beads or other objects, and create a magnetic expression of who you are. Materials provided.
This project is funded with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. Presented in collaboration with ArtStart.

Teen Anime Club
Saturday, May 5, 3 p.m.  
Grades 7-12. Can't get enough anime? Join up to watch and review brand-new anime episodes, share artwork and hang out with other anime fans.
Sponsored by the Friends of the Maple Grove Library.

Baby Storytime
Fridays, May 11-25, 10:15-10:45 a.m. or 11:15-11:45 a.m.  
Registration required; begins April 13; limit 25. For children from birth to 24 months. Delight and stimulate your baby's senses with books and music. Build brain power.

A Look Into Tea
Saturday, May 19, 2 p.m. 
Registration required; begins April 21; limit 30. A tea expert will give a viewing of gongfu, the Asian style of tea steeping, and contrast it with British tea preparation. Guests are encouraged, but not required, to bring a favorite teacup.
