Pizza, Hot Dogs on the Menu for Maple Grove Days Food Eating Contests
Maple Grove Days, July 14-17, is just weeks away. Make sure to check out Maple Grove Patch each day for some of the many events taking place during the citywide event.
Hot dogs and pizza are on the plate for the annual Maple Grove Days Food Eating Contests Saturday, July 16.
A Hot Dog Eating Contest takes place at 4 p.m. in front of the Main Stage by the followed by a Pizza Eating Contest at 6:30 p.m.
Participants must be at least 18-years-old. The registration fee is $5 per contest with a minimum of five and maximum of 15 contestants. According to Maple Grove Days organizers, the prize is $50 cash to the winner in each category and prizes for second place runner up.
Registration forms and rules for the contests are available at the Maple Grove Community Center and on the Maple Grove Days website.
