Maple Grove Ambassador Coronation, Gala
Maple Grove Days, July 14-17, about a week away. Make sure to check out Maple Grove Patch each day for some of the many events taking place during the citywide event during Maple Grove Days.
The Maple Grove Ambassador coronation will crown the next Maple Grove Ambassadors 7 p.m. Friday, July 15 at . The coronation is part of the Maple Grove Ambassador Scholarship Program that offers leadership opportunities to young women in Maple Grove and Osseo. Tickets are $10 at the door, $2 off with a Maple Grove Days button. Buttons are available for purchase at the Maple Grove Community Center.
A Gala in the Grove will follow the coronation 9 p.m. to midnight at the Osseo-Maple Grove American Legion. The event is free and open to the community. The newly crowned 2011 Maple Grove Ambassadors will be at the gala along with music, DJ and dancing. Donations are accepted for the Maple Grove Ambassador Program.
