Goodwill Announces Opening Date of Second Maple Grove Store

The second Maple Grove Goodwill location is scheduled to open to the public 9 a.m. Saturday, March 16, according to a press release from the organization.

A preview sale will take place 4-7 p.m. Friday, March 15 for a $7 admission price. In addition to shopping, there will also be a silent auction and light refreshments.

“Everyone wins when Goodwill adds a second store to a community,” said store manager, Marcia Muhich. “Local shoppers get more great deals on quality clothing and housewares. Families have another convenient place to drop off items they no longer use. More than 40 new jobs are created. And the new sales support local programs that prepare people for work.”

The new 20,600-square foot retail store is near the intersection of Interstate 94 and Weaver Lake Road - located at 13605 80th Circle North.

Revenues from Goodwill's 27 retail stores, along with other contributions, support programs at 48 service locations in Minnesota and the Twin Cities Metro Area. For more information, visit www.goodwilleasterseals.org.
