Preschool Drop-Off: Kits & Cubs: Tremendous Trees

Monday, April 29 and Tuesday April 30, from 1-3 p.m., at Eastman Nature Center, in Elm Creek Park Reserve, Dayton. Learn different ways to identify trees. Make a tree craft to take home and have a snack that comes from a forest. Cost is $10 and reservations are required. Call 763-559-6700 to make a reservation and reference activity number #212216-28. Preschool Drop-off: Doodlebugs

Tuesday, April 30, from 1-3 p.m., at Silverwood Park, St. Anthony. Spend part of every class exploring spring  then get messy as we cut, paste, paint, or sculpt! Dress for the weather and bring a small snack, water bottle, and a bag for projects. Cost is $10 and reservations are required. Preschool Drop-Off: Kits & Cubs-Spring Has Sprung: Spring Migration

Tuesday, April 30, from 1-3 p.m., at Richardson Nature Center, in Hyland Lake Park Reserve, Bloomington. Drop off your kids to investigate how spring has sprung in Hyland Lake Park Reserve. This month, we will explore the changes that come with the season of spring, make a craft, and end the day with a healthy snack brought from home. Reservations are required. May Day Celebration

Wednesday, May 1, from 10-11:30 a.m., at Eastman Nature Center, in Elm Creek Park Reserve, Dayton. Kick off a morning of festivities with a puppet show, then dance around a maypole, plant spring flowers, make a May basket, and play spring games. Afterwards, bring a picnic lunch, follow a self-guided hike, or investigate our Nature Play Area. Cost is $10 and reservations are required. Farmyard Fun Day

Wednesday, May 1, from 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., at Gale Woods Farm, Minnetrista. Explore the barn to meet the farm animals and assist a Gale Woods farmer with chores. Stop in the classrooms for farm crafts, cooking and farm games. Activities are a mix of independent exploration and educator-led programming. Come for just an hour or for the whole day. Adults must accompany children. All programs break for lunch from 11:45 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Cost is $5 and this program is for ages 2-9.

Thursday, May 2, from 10 a.m.-noon, or 1-3 p.m., at Fish Lake Regional Park, Maple Grove. Drop off your kids to explore nature in spring. They will discover the natural world through hands-on learning: stories, art, songs, games, play activities, and hikes. Snack is included. Cost is $10 and reservations are required. My Preschooler & Me: Outdoor Adventurers — Woodland Wildflowers

Saturday, May 4, from 10-11:30 a.m., Cleary Lake Regional Park, Prior Lake. Each program includes hands-on arrival activities, an introduction to the featured recreational activity and outdoor time for exploration and play. Cost is $5 and reservations are required.
