Party in the Park - Elm Creek Park Reserve

Join Eastman Nature Center staff at the Elm Creek Picnic Area, in Elm Creek Park Reserve, Maple Grove, for a Party in the Park on Monday, July 2, from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Bring a blanket and picnic lunch while participating in the family fun. Become a detective on a camouflage insect safari. Catch and release land bugs with a jar. Race minnows, scoop for critters in the “pond,” run an obstacle course, discover buried treasure, and play other games. Take your own pictures while you visit live animals. Organized cooperative games, parachute fun, and musical activities rotate every half hour. A small snack is provided. The event will be held rain or shine.

Cost is $5 per child; adults and children under 2 are admitted free.

Reservations are recommended. Call 763-559-6700 to make a reservation and reference activity number #312407-01. 

This program is open to all ages.
