You didn't include the best place for a wedding -- the Minnesota Landsscape Arboretum. It is beautiful any time of year and they have fabulous facilities.

One person emailed me suggesting: "Check out the courtyard at the Lake Calhoun Event Center for a small outdoor wedding venue." http://www.lakecalhouneventcenter.com/

I checked out several of these park venues for my wedding this fall, but decided on one that's not on your list. If you haven't seen it, it's like a fairy tale! It's called The Woods Chapel, and it's in Orono. You get the amphitheater and the chapel, in case of rain.

Noerenberg Memorial Gardens, will only rent for in three hour time blocks and absolutely no food or beverages can be at the grounds (that includes water). It is a gorgeous venue.

Yes, beautiful, limited setting at most of their venues...standing room is the norm for their facilities.

If you are looking for a rustic barn venue...check Rubies and Rust Barn Weddings, Belle Plaine, MN. Gorgeous, reasonable price, decor, table and chairs included in the cost.

The main thing which fascinates guests is the venue, when you are selecting an outdoor venue you have lot of options like you can go for beach wedding, garden's and unique locations like wedding on boat.

Apparently being coddled v. independent is becoming something to be watchful of... I'm only midwayRead More through this article and I'm afraid of what it means for the future of our young adults who cannot think for themselves. http://www.psychologytoday.com/articles/200411/nation-wimps
