Osseo Area Schools has selected Mindy Mateuszczyk as their new communications specialist replacing a position that has been vacant since May.
Mateuszczyk is an award-winning journalist who previously worked for ECM Publishers, Inc. as community editor for the Champlin-Dayton Press for the past seven years. During that time, she also covered Anoka-Hennepin School District, Elk River Area School District and Rogers city news.
Mateuszczyk holds a bachelor's degree in public relations and journalism from Utica College of Syracuse University (NY) and has operated her own PR firm. Her key responsibilities will be employee communication, school news reporting, media relations, and marketing for Osseo Area Schools.
