Taste of Chick-Fil-A, Tom Petty Tribute Concert Wednesday in Maple Grove

From concerts to chicken, there are a variety of events happening around Maple Grove Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013.

With Chick-Fil-A on the way to Maple Grove, the company is giving residents a sneak peak, and taste, during an event Wednesday, Aug. 14. According to the Chick-Fil-A website, the fast-food chain has scheduled a community event for 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Aug 14 Maple Grove Community Center. The event features tastings of the restaurant's Signature Chicken Sandwich, as well as games and hot air balloon rides.

Also at the Maple Grove Community Center Aug. 13, check out Wild Wednesday at the Grove Cove Aquatic Center. Admission is $5 per person or $19.00 per family. Family includes two adults and your children ages 17 and under.  Concessions specials and games for kids, according to the city of Maple Grove website.

Relax in the evening at Town Green Maple Grove with a Tom Petty tribute concert starting at 7 p.m. or listen to music from Bian Chicoine starting at 5:30 p.m. Daily Dose Cafe and Espresso. Looking for more upcoming performances? Check out the Town Green Performance schedule.
