Patrick's Bakery & Café Is Now Open in Maple Grove

Reviewer: 'People leaving the nearby megamovieplex should be psyched that there's a non-chain eatery cooking adult food (and real cake!) within a few strides.'

Patrick's Bakery & Café opened Wednesday in Maple Grove.

Owners Patrick and Azita Bernet recently opened their third Twin Cities location at The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes 6A, in the former home of the California Pizza Kitchen

On Patrick's Facebook page: "Join us for breakfast, lunch, happy hour or dinner. Or stop in for a delicious pastry or danish and enjoy a Cappuccino at our coffee bar. Our new location has it all! We are so excited to meet our northern suburban customers!"

"People leaving the nearby megamovieplex should be psyched that there’s a non-chain eatery cooking adult food (and real cake!) within a few strides," wrote food and dining editor Stephanie March in her Mpls.St.Paul Magazine review. March called Patrick's a "welcome change for this area."

"It is our intention to take our valued customer through a French journey of culinary delight that awakens the senses, captures the imagination, inspires with places you haven't been before and leaves joyous memories," according to owners. "Because a great meal never fills you up it leaves a 'want' for the next time. It is this 'want' that brings back our customers."

Patrick's Bakery & Café has two other Twin Cities locations.
