Meeting Today: Osseo Schools' Boundary Changes
Osseo Schools are considering a boundary adjustment proposal that has made some parents of Basswood students angry.
At a Jan. 7 School Board work session, administrators proposed two administrative boundary adjustments that would help alleviate overcrowding at one Basswood Elementary and provide a consistent junior high advancement pattern at another school.
In order to reduce overcrowding at Basswood, administration has proposed reassigning Census Area 284 from Basswood Elementary to Oak View Elementary, effective next school year.
Information sessions for Basswood parents/guardians on this proposal will be held in the Basswood Elementary Cafeteria on Tuesday, Jan. 14 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and Friday, Jan. 17 from 8-9 a.m.
