Join TYR and Urban Tri for a night on the beach! We’ll begin with a wetsuit demo and testing with products from TYR (www.tyr.com).
The event also includes a free coaching session with triathlon coach, Lea Kirdatt of the Twin Cities Triple Threat Tough triathlon training team. The training will cover the layout of the MG TRI course, beach starts, entrance and exit into the water, sighting and swim techniques.
Participants will have the opportunity to practice as a group with personal tips and guidance available.

More About Weaver Lake Community Park and Beach
Weaver Lake Community Park and Beach is an 80-acre recreational site that features swimming and fishing areas and sports facilites. The beach on Weaver Lake usually opens at the beginning of June and closes in mid-August. It is staffed by lifeguards during designated hours. A viewing deck is located near the beach, as is a large tube slide, leading down to the shoreline. Sites for picnicking and playing are plentiful. A boat launch access is located across the lake, at the south side of the fishing pier.
