Deer Watch
Saturday, Feb. 16, from 5-6 p.m., at Eastman Nature Center, in Elm Creek Park Reserve, Dayton. Watch for deer in the nature center’s wildlife area. Observe the subtle and not-so-subtle behaviors deer use to communicate to each other. Touch and look at deer antlers and pelts. See these graceful animals up close. Be prompt and quiet as you enter the nature center so the deer are not frightened away. This program is free and open to all ages.

More About Elm Creek Park Reserve
Elm Creek Park Reserve, which spans 4,900 acres in Maple Grove and neighboring cities, is the largest park in the Three Rivers park system. Patrons can partake in summer activities at the swimming pond and outdoor play area in addition to hiking and biking. In the winter, check out the Winter Recreation Area for tubing, skiing, snowshoeing and more.
