A year later, the owners Arlene Kielley and Carisa Fegers added a second location in Minnetonka. A new restaurant is making plans to open in Maple Grove. Representatives of Teresa’s Mexican Restaurant appeared before the Maple Grove City Council at the April 15 meeting for a liquor license request, which was approved effective July 1, 2013. The proposed location for the new restaurant is at the former Orient Buffet site, located at 16314 County Road 30, according to council documents. Although a formal opening date has not been set, a Teresa’s Mexican Restaurant representative at the meeting told councilmembers they hope to open in July. The newest GNC location is scheduled to open May 27, 2013 at its location at 15525 Grove Circle North in Maple Grove, near Daily Dose and Super Target. GNC is a retailer of nutritional products “including vitamin, mineral, herbal and other specialty supplements and sports nutrition, diet and energy products,” according to their website. As of May 2, the franchisee owner shared on the Maple Grove Patch Facebook page they were hiring one or two sales associates.
