In response to the NRA press conference I have created a petition on We the People, at WhiteHouse.gov. I believe that the NRA's self serving statements are meant only to deflect attention away from the real problems regarding gun control.

This is not a hoax, a scam or a phishing email. We the People allows anyone to create a petition asking the Obama Administration to take action. If a petition gets enough support, the Obama Administration will issue an official response.

Will you add your name to mine? If this petition gets 25,000 signatures by January 20, 2013, the White House will review it.
