Wild Bill’s Sports Saloon Named Best March Madness Spot in Maple Grove

More than 1,200 votes were cast during Readers' Choice to choose the best place to watch the NCAA tournament.

Just in time for this weekend's Final Four matchups of the 2012 NCAA Tournament, a winner has emerged in the voting for the best place to watch March Madness in the Maple Grove.

Wild Bill’s Sports Saloon, located at 12730 Elm Creek Boulevard North, secured the Readers' Choice award for Best March Madness Spot in Maple Grove.

With a total of seven locations in the running, Wild Bill’s Sports Saloon and Maple Tavern quickly ran away with the popular vote.

Out of 1,257 votes, Wild Bill’s Sports Saloon came away with 701 (or 65 percent) of the votes. Maple Tavern finished with 532 (or 42 percent) of the votes. Both establishments did not receive any reviews.

The Lookout Bar and Grill came third, based on six votes and five reviews cast, in which users said, “We love coming here in the summer time with the kids to enjoy the outdoor patio.” and “…the Lookout is absolutely one of the best community restaurants in the country” as well as “It is our favorite place to go, and they have become family to us.”

Stay tuned early next week, when we'll kick off voting for our next Readers' Choice: Best Buffet. If would like to suggest a Maple Grove buffet, share it in comments.

In the meantime, have fun watching the remainder of the NCAA Tournament at your location of choice.
