Students from the Osseo Area Learning Center as well as Maple Grove, Osseo, Champlin Park, Park Center and Brooklyn Center High Schools were recognized at the 2012 North Hennepin Area Chamber of Commerce Star Student Awards Dec. 12, 2012 at North Hennepin Community College.

According to the North Hennepin Area Chamber of Commerce website, the award is for "students for their outstanding achievement in career advancement, employment and volunteering.
