Video: Limmer: Compromise Puts Minnesotans Back to Work
Sen. Warren Limmer said during a recess during the special session Tuesday that the compromise on the budget bills is a welcome relief -- though it could have been avoided.
An upbeat Maple Grove Sen. Warren Limmer said Tuesday he's glad to get the budget bills passed to get Minnesota state workers back on the job.

This entire mess should never have happened. We elected these folks to do a job and they did not do it. In business, performance like this would result in at the least a severe reprimand. Limmer asks that we be patient with the political process as inevitable. It is not, or should not be inevitable. Short term band aid and fundamental structural problems persist.
