Twin Cities Powerball Winning Numbers and Results
With a $580 million prize on the line, Twin Cities residents are eyeing their tickets.
A half billion dollars could be yours in the latest Powerball drawing. In fact, so many people were trying to access the Florida lottery website that the server was slow to respond and appeared down at times shortly after the 11 p.m. drawing.
The Minnesota site had no such issue, as seen here.
The $580 million winning Powerball numbers have been selected and people in the Twin Cities metro from St. Michael to Hudson are checking their tickets.
The winning Powerball numbers for the Nov. 28, 2012 drawing are 5, 16, 22, 23, 29 and a Powerball number of 6.

There are plenty of ups and downs to winning (or trying to win) the Powerball lottery in Minnesota.
Last year, a $229 million ticket was sold in Dakota County. In all, there have been 21 jackpots sold here, but that's before the Powerball merger.
Indiana leads in "modern day" jackpot wins with 19 followed by Pennsylvania at 15.
Second place isn't a bad consolation prize, though. Florida has had 159 second-prize Powerball winners, according to the Powerball analysis site.
Lottery anaylsis website USA Mega broke down what you could expect to take home after taxes in the $550 million jackpot state by state.
For Minnesota, you do have a state lottery tax and an income tax, so the overall tax bill would be sizeable. The site says your one-time payout would be $257,314,500.
Take the 30-year annuity payments, and it's $392,949,990, bringing home $13.1 million each year, according to USA Mega.
