There have been 38 incidents since August 2011.
Since August 2011, there have been 38 incidents of "Cruise" graffiti in Maple Grove, according to a Nov. 20, 2012 alert from the Maple Grove Police Department.
Most recently, seven incidents reported during the month of November on garbage containers, transformer boxes, street signs and more.
As a result, police continue to ask for assistance in locating the suspect(s).
"There really is nothing that is linking us to one specific group at this point," Maple Grove Police Captain Keith Terlinden told Channel 12 in a recent interview. "So we're asking the public's help, if they have seen somebody have this type writing in a notebook, say a teacher sees it in a student's notebook or a parent is seeing this type graffiti from a friend or their child, to please call us."
The most recent reports, as with the incidents earlier this year (see below), the majority of the vandalism happened in northern Maple Grove.

The Maple Grove Police Department recently received “multiple reports” of graffiti around Maple Grove, according to an email alert sent to residents by Maple Grove Crime Prevention Officer Todd Strege May 2. The graffiti was reportedly in the areas of County Road 30/Interstate 94, County Road 81/Elm Creek Boulevard, County Road 30/Upland Lane and within the Elm Creek Park Reserve.
“Last summer we received reports of the same graffiti near The Shoppes of Arbor Lakes,” Strege said, indicating the tag “DC Crew” was also referenced with the past graffiti.
Tags of “CRZ”, “Cruise” and “Loki” were among the most recent graffiti incidents, according to pictures provided by the Maple Grove Police Department in the May 2 alert.
“Unfortunately at this time we have not been able to identify the person(s) responsible which has cost the city and county thousands of dollars in damage and clean up costs,” Strege said.
