Oak View Elementary fifth-grader Alayna led a school supply drive for Students Connecting through International Service. Breaking the school’s previous record, she collected more than $2,000 to buy school supplies for Mexican students. Later this year, Alayna and six other fifth grade representatives will travel with Rice Lake Elementary Principal Mark French and School Board Director Tammie Epley to Sonora, Mexico to deliver the school supplies.
