Outdoor Skating Rinks in Maple Grove

Maple Grove outdoor ice skating rink season continues through Feb. 20, 2012.

Although opportunities for ice skating year round are available at the Maple Grove Community Center, it’s the time of year when thoughts turn to this outdoor activity for pleasure and sport.

The Maple Grove Parks and Recreation Board maintains community skating rink locations with an attendant on duty at designated times. Neighborhood pleasure rinks without shelter buildings are also available for residents to enjoy.

The community skating rinks are typically open Dec. 17, 2011 with a targeted closing date of Monday, Feb. 20, 2012 (weather permitting).

For information on outdoor ice conditions, call the pre-recorded information line at 763-494-5959.
