The Maple Grove Senior High dance team brings back a state title after a Feb. 15 competition at the Target Center.
The team won the Class 3A state jazz title, beating out Wayzata High School (second) and Eastview High School (third).
Points were awarded for jazz skills, execution, choreography, difficulty and routine effectiveness, according to a Pioneer Press article, which stated Maple Grove had won the state title in 2004, 2005, 2008 and 2011.
