Maple Grove Police Investigate Robbery at Subway Restaurant
The business at 9660 63rd Ave. N. reportedly had about $280 stolen on Nov. 29.
Maple Grove Police continue to investigate a robbery at a Maple Grove Subway restaurant, according to a crime alert on the Maple Grove city website.
The reported robbery occurred about 8:56 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 29, at the Subway restaurant located on the 9600 block of 63rd Avenue North in Maple Grove, according to the Maple Grove Police Department alert.
No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
Police say two males, one wearing a mask and covering his face with a hood, entered the store and jumped the counter. One male reportedly had a black handgun and removed money from the register after going into the back room looking for the employee. Both individuals left the store on foot and no vehicle was seen, according to police.
