Maple Grove Farmers Market Moves to New Hours

With the loss of daylight, the 2012 Maple Grove Farmers Market will be closing an hour earlier each Thursday through October.

The 2012 Maple Grove Farmers Market season has flown by, and there are only a handful of markets left outside.

Starting Oct. 4, Maple Grove Farmers Market hours are 3 to 6 p.m. due to the loss of daylight. Therefore, market hours are 3 to 6 p.m. for Thursday Oct. 4, 11, and 18.

The market is outside at the Maple Grove Community Center with more than 50 vendors offering fresh produce, meats, breads/baked good, cheese, canned items, honey, syrups, sauces, pickled products and much more as well as ready to eat foods for shoppers.

Once the outdoor market has closed for the season, plans to open the indoor Maple Grove Farmers Market are underway. The indoor market is scheduled to be open 3-6 p.m. Nov. 1 and 15 as well as Dec. 6 and Dec. 20. Indoor vendor applications are still being accepted.
