Maple Grove Farmers Market Moves Indoors June 14
Inclement weather prompts organizers to move the first farmers market of 2012 into the Maple Grove Community Center.
A forecast of inclement weather for the afternoon of June 14 prompted Maple Grove Farmers Market organizers to move the gathering indoors.
The following is a release emailed to community members from organizers in regard to the June 14 Maple Grove Farmers Market:
The show will go on despite Mother Nature’s attempts to rain on our parade. But, please note the Maple Grove Farmers Market will be held INSIDE the Maple Grove Community Center, not outside in the parking lot. The Farmers Market is open from 3 to 7 p.m. in the back lobby area overlooking the pools (the same location as the indoor market and spring preview). Community Center address is 12951 Weaver Lake Road, Maple Grove, MN 55369.
Not to worry--there will still be a wide range of products available—lots fresh produce, meats, cheese, breads, baked good, pickled products, and much more. The only thing missing will be ready to eat foods. Storytime will still take place at 4:30, and enjoy the sounds of the Dean Harrington Trio from 4 to 7 p.m.
We look forward to seeing you today. We didn’t let the weather stop us, so please don’t let it stop you from joining in the food and fun! The Maple Grove Farmers Market is open every Thursday through October 18th outside at the Community Center. Hours are 3 to 7 p.m. through September, and 3 to 6 p.m. in October.
