As the weather gets warmer and you do some spring cleaning - maybe you want some extra cash to help pay for those new summer toys.
Cue the neighborhood garage sale.
School clothes your children have outgrown, old toys, that set of unused free weights, old trinkets that just take up space in the attic—if you’ve got it, you probably want to unload it.
For those who decide to host a garage sale, Maple Grove Patch is here to help you get the word out.
Our events section is perfect for letting the community know about your sale. Just follow these steps and you’re on your way:
1. Gather up all your information for you garage sale—time, date, place and basis information about what you’re selling or anything else potential customers should know.
2. Visit the Events section of Maple Grove Patch. The easiest way is to click the “Events” tab at the top of the page. If you haven’t been to that section before, go check it out now and come back after you take a look at all the local happenings we have on the site. It’s OK; I’ll wait ...
3. Are you back? Good. Now, did you notice the green “Add an Event” button to the right of the page? That’s what you’ll click to create a blank event. Give the event a title; put in the time and date and address. Don’t forget to fill out a description of what you’re selling. There are a few more options for adding other important info. Fill out what you can.
4. Here’s the key part: Click “Garage Sale” as the Category. That’s it!
