Fire Destroys Taco Bell Sign
The Maple Grove restaurant remained closed following the Monday evening fire.
The Maple Grove Fire Department was called to Taco Bell, located off of 13910 Grove Drive, around 6:15 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6 on the report of a fire, according to Assistant Fire Chief Mike Kinnan.
Flames were reportedly coming from the sign on the front of the building, which ultimately destroyed the sign. The fire was extinguished with minutes of arriving on the scene, according to Kinnan, and there were no injuries. The cause of the fire appeared to be electrical, he said, but is currently under investigation.
Taco Bell was closed shortly during the incident, but reopened shortly afterward.
Crews from the Maple Grove Fire Department left the scene around 7 p.m. Monday evening.
