Capping of a successful season, the Maple Grove Senior High girls softball team earned the Section 5AAA title after a 2-0 win over Centennial High School May 31.

The win provides the Crimson (22-2-0) with a trip to the state Class AAA girls softball tournament. Maple Grove Senior High will face Big Lake High School 11 a.m. Thursday, June 7 at Caswell Park in North Mankato.
