After losing their first season game to Edina High School, the Maple Grove Senior High girls soccer team rebounded to bring home seven wins and an overtime tie. Their latest wins against Blaine High School (4-0) and Irondale High School (4-2) continue the winning record for the Crimson.
Maple Grove Senior High meets up with Anoka High School Wednesday, Sept. 19 at Anoka and against Andover High School at Maple Grove Senior High Thursday, Sept. 20. Both games are at 7 p.m.
The 2012-2013 varsity roster for the Maple Grove Senior High girls soccer team, according to the Minnesota State High School League, includes: seniors Michelle Lynch, Jenna Mangle, Jessica VanKeulen, Angie Davison, Kailey Beatt, McKenzie Arbeiter, Anna Sivanich, Mariah Morrisette and Haley Nelson; juniors Casey Autey, Lauren Schwarzrock, Natalie Engel, Amanda Travis, Michelle Jancaric, Samantha Boonstra and Laryssa McLouth; sophomores Marissa Hamilton and McKenna Peplinski .
