A homeowner on the 6900 block of Magda Drive reportedly interrupted a burglary in progress on Tuesday, June 12 - but not before the suspect stole an iPad2 and fled. This, and the following synopsis, are some of the incidents that occurred in Maple Grove during the week of June 8-14, 2012 as provided by the Maple Grove Police Department.

June 8

• Theft on the 17000 block of 77th Avenue. Report of GPS unit stolen from vehicle.
• Theft on the 11300 block of Fountains Drive. Report of wallet stolen while shopping at Costco and credit card subsequently used at store.
• Theft from auto on the 7000 block of Magda Drive. Report of two vehicles broken into in apartment complex parking lot and a torque wrench stolen from one of them.
• Theft on the 13400 block of Grove Drive. Report of vehicle leaving station without paying for gas.
• Theft on the 8800 block of Jonquil Lane. Report of bikes stolen from end of driveway of residence.
• Theft from auto on the 7000 block of Magda Drive. Report of vehicle broken into and approximately $800 of personal property stolen.
• Theft from auto on the 8100 block of Ranier Lane. Report of $700 digital camera stolen from unlocked vehicle parked in Drive driveway overnight.
• Burglary on the 7700 block of Garland Lane. Report of two GPS units stolen from two cars parked in garage overnight and a bike also stolen.
• Theft on the 16300 block of 96th Avenue. Report of vehicle leaving station without paying for gas.
• Damage to Property on the 62nd Avenue /Quantico Lane. Report of street sign pushed over in neighborhood.
• Theft from auto on the 8100 block of Peony Lane. Report of sunglasses, binoculars, cell phone and change stolen from unlocked vehicle parked in driveway overnight.

June 9

• Theft on the 17600 block of Weaver Lake Drive. Report of two golf carts for sale stolen from end of driveway overnight.
• Theft from auto on the 6800 block of Deerwood Lane. Report of Toshiba Thrive tablet and iPod Touch stolen from vehicle parked in driveway overnight.

June 10

• Medical on the 9200 block of Jewel Lane. Responded to individual having difficulty breathing, officers administered oxygen until paramedics arrived on scene.
• Damage to property on the 15500 block of Elm Road. Report of mailbox post pushed to ground.
• Theft on the 11200 block of 93rd Avenue. Report of vehicle leaving station without paying for gas.
• Medical on the 7200 block of Deerwood Lane. Responded to individual having trouble breathing, officers administered oxygen until paramedics arrived on scene.

June 11

• Theft on the 16300 block of 96th Avenue. Report of vehicle leaving station without paying for gas.
• Theft on the 13000 block of 89th Avenue. Report of bike stolen from in front of residence.
• Theft on the 11200 block of 93rd Avenue. Report of vehicle leaving station without paying for gas.
• Theft on the 16300 block of 96th Avenue. Report of vehicle leaving station without paying for gas.
• Burglary on the 400 block of West Eagle Lake Drive. Report of 60 prescription Oxycontin pills stolen from residence.
• Medical on the 11600 block of 88th Avenue. Responded to individual having difficulty breathing, officers administered oxygen until transported to hospital by paramedics.

June 12

• Theft on the 16400 block of 94th Avenue. Report of license tabs stolen from vehicle while at Goodyear.
• Damage to property on the 7051 Magda Drive. Report of pry marks on the sliding rear door and frame of residence.
• Theft on the 16300 block of 96th Avenue. Report of vehicle leaving station without paying for gas.
• Theft from auto on the 9100 block of Orchid Lane. Report of sunglasses, approximately 40 CDs, and a gold infant ring stolen from unlocked vehicle overnight.
• Theft from auto on the 7200 block of Quantico Lane. Report of tools stolen from unlocked vehicle parked in driveway overnight.
• Theft from auto on the 7200 block of Quantico Lane. Report of money and jumper cables stolen from vehicle parked in driveway overnight.
• Damage to property on the 13000 block of 89th Avenue. Report of vehicle shot with BB gun while driving in area.
• Attempted burglary on the 6900 block of Magda Drive. Report of screen on residence cut but no entry gained.
• Burglary on the 6900 block of Magda Drive. Report of resident interrupting a burglary in progress, suspect stole an iPad2 and fled.

June 13

• Vandalism on the 9900 block of Vagabond Lane. Report of house covered with toilet paper and ketchup.
• Theft on the 9400 block of Dunkirk Lane. Report of two laptops stolen from Wal-Mart, suspects fled in vehicle.
• Theft on the 8000 block of Zachary Lane. Report of 200 feet of copper cable cut and stolen from conveyors at Barton Sand and Gravel.
• Burglary on the 7900 block of Inland Lane. Report of bikes stolen from garage.

June 14

• Theft from auto on the 11000 block of Maple Valley Drive. Report of wallet stolen from vehicle overnight.

There were 23 property damage and one personal injury traffic accidents reported during this time period.
