Parnassus Preparatory School, a public Charter school located in Maple Grove, is trying to win $25,000 in a nationwide contest sponsored by Clorox and could really use the communities help as winners are based solely on votes.
The Power A Bright Future contest will give away a total of 7 grants this year - 4 based on votes, and 3 based on judge’s pick. The nomination with the most votes overall will receive a $50,000 grant, and the nominations with the most votes in each category will each receive a $25,000 grant. Clorox will then review all nominations and pick 1 from each category based on merit to award a $25,000 grant in each category.
As the winners are determined by the number of votes, and each person (age 13+,) is able to vote TWICE DAILY - one (1) time via text and one (1) time online at https://powerabrightfuture.clorox.com/thru December 19th. We would love it if you would be willing to help vote for us by texting 1744PBF to the number 95248 and/or then going online to https://powerabrightfuture.clorox.com/ and signing up and voting for Parnassus.
Parnassus Preparatory School is currently in 14thplace in the EXPLORE category which we entered to be able to help enhance our Science and Music programs. If you look at the statistics right now, 14th place out of the 1595 nominees in the EXPLORE category is great, but it doesn’t win the contest. There are 49 schools from Minnesota in the entire contest (out of 2500 nominees,) and Parnassus is the top vote-getter in the state – which shows what great support we have for our school.
Thank you for helping us win this great opportunity for our students!
