An event called the Pink is for Prevention Fall Expo and Fundraiser will be open to the public 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15 at the Maple Grove Community Center.

The free event, hosted by Metro Mom Guide, combines a vendor fair and gift sale featuring products such as jewelry, spa, gourmet food, aromatherapy, wellness, children's products and more. All attendee's will receive a free raffle ticket, according to a press release, for a chance to win one of three prize drawings.

Pink is for Prevention will also have a fundraiser to benefit Women's Cancer Action, a nonprofit organization that provides free alternative therapy services to women in the Twin Cities with cancer.
